GMT Public SchoolGMT Public School was established in the memory of Late Sardarni Gur Kaur Thind, mother of the director of the school, Mr S.G.S. Thind. Though an illiterate herself, she always showed a deep desire for quality education for children. Hence her very pious spirit and dedicated and devotional soul is the inspiration and backbone of this school. It was started in April 1995 with a sense of great responsibility keeping in view the educational requirements of the locality.

The institution is spread over 5 acres of land. The rooms are spacious & airy which makes the children comfortable. The lush green lawns add to the beauty to the institution. The purpose of the institution is to provide intrinsic values & virtues and establish uniqueness. The primary purpose is to provide such an education that develops an all-round personality of the child as the educational process is not merely an activity but in fact a journey towards perfection. The school is affiliated to senior secondary level of CBSE Board.
